Entries with name, date, type, subtitle and picture are stored only in a database on this device. RamuDates has no server, no account and no sign-in. No data is transferred to the provider or to third parties. An optional password is stored on the device as a PBKDF2 hash only, never in clear text.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking services and no advertising identifiers. No profiling takes place.
RamuDates does not access your address book. Notifications are requested only so that reminders appear on the device at the chosen time; they are triggered locally, not through a server. A picture is read only when you pick it yourself from the photo picker. There is no access to location, microphone, camera or health data. With “Back up” the app creates a file containing your entries and hands it to the device's share sheet; where that file goes is entirely your decision.
You delete your data in the app or by uninstalling RamuDates. As nothing is kept on a server, it is then gone completely.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
